What will you do as Virtual Customer Service Associate?

As an Amazon Virtual Customer Service Associate, you have very clear purpose: to prevent issues, solve queries, and delight our customers. Answer customer inquiries related to North America and/or United Kingdom (UK) markets/countries by phone, chat and/or email, including order, product, and payment inquiries, website support for full e-commerce transactions, and digital and devices questions. Virtual Customer Service Associates use a variety of tools to navigate, research and review solutions for clearer communication with customers.

What are your hours?

This job shifts hours to ensure that we are available when our customers need us most. You will be working in shifting patterns and your work week is at least 40 hours but during all of your shifts you must receive calls, chat and/or email and assist our customers. For this reason, we scheduled based on a variety of different shift patterns from Sunday to Monday. The schedule will not be fixed. We work on shift and rotation and, quite frequently, on graveyard schedules. Work Schedule: you will get your work schedule at least 4 weeks in advance, and your shifts may change every 4 weeks. You will be required to work national holidays, weekends, and render overtime based upon business needs. To satisfy the needs of our customers, we have times during specific months of the prime, peak and other critical working periods that will restrict late, absence, approved leaves, and time off. You will find all the details related to your specific calendar as you get closer to your start date.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What qualifications do we need from you?

Must be at least one year BPO experience
Age: 18years old
Completed at least two years in college or Senior High School Graduate; or,
A high school graduate of the old curriculum with at least one year customer service experience; or,
Less than two years in college with at least one year customer service experience.
Be eligible to work in the Philippines with no restrictions.
Command of the English language: Proficiency in written and oral fluency
Available to work various shifts M-Sun : you are working in a 9-hour shift (an 8 hour shift with a one hour lunch break) and throughout your shift you will take calls, chat and/or email and assist our customers.
Willingness and ability to work in rotating shifts (i.e. early, late, overnight, holidays, weekend, and overtime as required). In order to meet our customers’ needs, we have periods in some months during prime, peak, and other critical working periods that will limit late, absences, approved leaves, and time off.
Understand and accept the changes in schedules based on business needs.
The schedule will not be fixed. We are working on shifting, rotating, and mostly on graveyard shifts.
Ideal candidates will be comfortable in a fast-paced multi-tasked high-energy environment. They will be creative and analytical problem to solvers with dedicated line passion for excellent customer service.
You’ll need a quiet, distraction-free work space (dedicated office space with desk and chair).
Must have internet connection with a minimum of 50 Mbps download speed and 50 Mbps upload speed, provided by a reliable internet provider with either Fiber or DSL connection type. The internet connection must be a dedicated line. Internet connections through Wireless Prepaid/Post-paid, Broadband stick, Satellite, and LTE CANNOT be used.
Internet service provider must be from either PLDT, Sky, Globe, or Converge.
Internet device (Modem/Router) must be LAN capable.
Having to work from a dedicated workspace or an office-like room at home.
Internet connection must be uninterrupted during the working shift for optimum productivity
It must ensure that the work environment is ‘work-like’ without any form of disturbance during work hours.
The given address shall be within Davao City proper, and the area covered by barangays Toril, Tugbok, Calinan, and Baguio Proper are excluded.
You must include a current mailing address (apartment, house, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not acceptable; you must have a physical address so that you can receive your equipment and the mailing address declared when applying will be considered your official work site.
